  • The Pontercole, also called "ponte del Diavolo", is a large monolith rock arch-shaped, 33 meters long, in the woods in an area where they were found archaeological finds from the Bronze Age.

The mountain Cantiere dominates the Via Vandelli built in '700 by the Este to connect Modena to Massa and ensure the duchy an outlet to the Tyrrhenian Sea. Designed by the geographer and mathematician Domenico Randelli, is now a regular destination for hikers especially along the stretch from Barigazzo to "passo cento  croci" to step up to San Pellegrino in Alpe.
