Hamlet of Pazzano

The hamlet of Pazzano, located in the borough of Serramazzoni, was once the seat of an ancient crenellated fortress which was demolished at the end of the XVIII century to make space for housing. It was in this area that the writer Guido Cavani used to spend the summer in his youth, closely studying the people, landscapes and atmosphere of times gone by, and artistically transforming them in his novel, Zebio Ctal, set right in Pazzano. Walking through the hamlet, one can recognize some of the places described in Cavanis novel: the church, Zebio Ctals house and field, and the inn.
